Bobby is a 13 year old that goes to my church. He was involved in a bicycle accident on July 23rd, 2009. He hit his head which caused bleeding in his brain. He went unconcious when he arrived at the hospital. He was lifeflighted to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh where they performed emergency surgery to remove a blood clot. The doctors said he may never function properly again. A few weeks later, he’s alert and doing well in rehab.
I put this site together to use as a way for Bobby’s friends to keep updated on how he is doing. It features “txt/email-to-post” which means you can send a txt message or email to a specific email address and it will be automatically posted to the website. It also features TXT alerts. This means users can register their cell phone number on the site and then as soon as a new post is added, they will be notified on their cell phone that there has been a new post.
