Bobby is a 13 year old that goes to my church.  He was involved in a bicycle accident on July 23rd, 2009.  He hit his head which caused bleeding in his brain.  He went unconcious when he arrived at the hospital.  He was lifeflighted to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh where they performed emergency surgery to remove a blood clot.  The doctors said he may never function properly again.  A few weeks later, he’s alert and doing well in rehab. 

I put this site together to use as a way for Bobby’s friends to keep updated on how he is doing.  It features “txt/email-to-post” which means you can send a txt message or email to a specific email address and it will be automatically posted to the website.  It also features TXT alerts.  This means users can register their cell phone number on the site and then as soon as a new post is added, they will be notified on their cell phone that there has been a new post.

PrintandDeliverOnline.net is a website for Nittany Valley Offset in State College, PA.  This site was created to allow customers to enter their project information (Name, Contact Information, Quantity, Shipping Addresses, Paper Type, Color Details, etc.) and upload a PDF file that will be printed to their specifications and then shipped to the appropriate destinations.

The entire site is built using PHP and MySQL.  The administrators have a login where they can view current orders, edit information for the job, set an invoice date and cancel a job.  They can also search by submission date, delivery date, and invoice date.

Central Penn Vision Associates have offices in Philipsburg, Tyrone, and State College, Pennsylvania.  The basic 4 page website gave them what they needed to establish their presence on the web.  Future website enhancements will include online ordering of contacts.
